well another option is that we lower every players overall by a number to be decided for ssake of conversation 12. that would keep intact current rosters but would make the highest rated players in the league 87 overall. i belive this alone would help slow down int's and make game play alot more realistic.

That won't make any difference.

Power houses will stay power houses and the lower teams will be equally as far behind.

Only way to close the gap is give the lower teams some attribute points to add to their players or subtract from the better teams.

Give the cellar dwellers 15-20 pts to add to their players with a limit of +2 for any attribute and a max of 3 upgrades per player

I agree with Tony, the original post by KC stated about some teams being loaded. Doing the 12 subtraction may indeed help with the INT and game play. But the fact is teams will still be loaded and others will struggle.

A restart isnt gonna change the fact that their are your powerhouse teams, who are expected to make playoffs and compete at high level...Then you got your teams that me be on verge a player or 2 away...then of course your bottom feeders. So it will be luck of the draw...your favorite Chiefs like Keith said GL, or tony's Buccs GL, alot of teams are shit on a stick. So restarting to level playing field is not gonna help plus your gonna lose long time dedicated owners, which should never be an option. i may have idea that was touched on by keith awhile back. We will talk

i dont think we will lose alot of owners but if we do then thats a option the league will have to weigh..in the end getting better on the field play is what were after if thats forces people to quit then thats something we will have to deal with. we are not trying to make every team equal buit on the flip side having powerhouse teams is not the ticket either. i accept full respomsibilty for this mess as i didnt for see this problem when i edited the drafts. but whats done is done and now we need i fix it if there is one.

i agree with you on this one pops we didn't see this being a problem when we did it however, i honestly think that if people couldn't restart to make better game play by having a more even roster then i don't think they are for the league's best interest. Not being rude to any but I've built my team better than most and if im willing to give up my team for the leagues best interest and take one that would be the worst than i really don't see a problem with that as im dedicated to the league. Also not to be cocky but we have a damn good league here and we never have had to many problems filling holes.

I think if we lower globably the overalls, we are better off just starting with current day rosters....This season will end in about 7-8 weeks so we will be in line with NFL post draft rosters for 2010-2011 season.

cough Wink

Your not the only one bud... lol. I rebuilt from the 1-15 Dolphins to the team i have now. I was 4-11-1 the first season but i made moves to get picks by trading vets (Taylor, Porter, Goodman, Allen, Ayodele, etc...). After only one offseason, i managed to go 10-6. My team looks boosted now but it was ugly at first. Lots of owners here put a lot of time on rebuilding their team (Steelers, Vikes, San Fran to name a few).

We can't just reset the league and start from scratch over and over again, this wouldn't make sense. We did that once already 3 seasons ago...

Some new owners just got here and want a restart... Just work on your team, make some intelligent trades, practice and learn the playbook that fits your team strenght... and you'll be fine. Only team that is a mess right now is Lions, but their new coach has already done a good job getting younger and competitive.

One thing we could do is that the 12 teams in playoffs have to release one 90+ ovr player aged 31 and under in the offseason (that includes UFA). Those 12 teams cannot bid on those players.

All valid points Sam and great idea....starting season over has to b absolutelast result...or they make 2011 for PC everyone will happily move. Whatever is wrong with roster was done by coaches,,,,bad trades esp moving pix and have shitty season, seen it a million times...we started over with a updated roster and it took us here...after 3 seasons now hey maybe lets restart to even things out abit is not really fair to lg. We all want whats best for MNCFL but another restart is a tough pill to swallow. Like u say its a long waiting list of coaches who want to join MNCFL. But to coaches who have been there it's not right at all to say IF we restart we can fill your pos easily so to speak if u dont like resrtart. Its been some nice ideas posted in this thread and i believe they ALL should b explored before restart is even a whisper.
